“But the sun will soon rise to dry your tears.
And the peace will come to settle your fears.”
A new day begins with the rising sun.
Time to let go of the fear of the night.
Sometimes you have to be the only one
to tell yourself that it will be alright.
Tears stream down your face like a waterfall.
Your heart beats rhythms of anxiety.
With closed eyes, you can’t concentrate at all.
Getting down on your knees, you beg God, “Please. . .”
I won’t lie to you; it won’t be easy.
To cross a mountain, you must first climb it.
You will learn this lesson – the same as me.
To see a new day, first watch the moon set.
But the sun will soon rise to dry your tears.
And the peace will come to settle your fears.
Friends, it’s been a long time since I’ve posted – I hope you haven’t forgotten about me! But this inspiration came to my mind tonight. I hope these words help you as much as they have helped me.
If you liked this post, also check out the simple but profound post by Pure Glory, “God’s Prescription for Fear.” And if you haven’t yet, also check out one of my other recent poems which is about finding love in the perfect moment – “Sold my Heart.”

These words are so beautiful — βBut the sun will soon rise to dry your tears.
And the peace will come to settle your fears.β — and your entire poem. Are they a quotation from a scripture? Thank you for this reminder and inspiration. Happy you are back!

Thank you so much KrishnaPriya, and for all your comments and support. It is not from a specific scripture, but it is inspired, of course.
