Grace – I am a paradox | Featured Blogs

I pray to God most times that I may have the courage to accept the things I can’t change and if I do then may it be for myself that I may strive. . .because everyday God is grace.

Friends, this is a great post that I really wanted to share with all of you. For starters, this post was written from the heart – you can really feel it. And That’s one reason I really like this author, Mailo. Second, I like this post because it’s very eloquent. Third, it has a great subject matter. For these three reasons, I wanted to include as one of my featured blogs to share with all of you.

Hold my Hand | Poetry Remix No. 7

“So, here I end my silly little rhyme.
Hold my hand so I can feel that you’re mine.”

The shape of your hand fits perfect in mine.

That makes me so happy that we are us.

We go together in space and in time.

All though my hands are bigger (what’s the fuss?).

Sometimes I just cannot wait to go home;

do something we would call “stupid” with you:

Like eat while we watch our favorite show.

Some hot dogs and pickles. You love that, too.

If it’s a bad day, you are my escape.

When it’s worse, you will always make it great.

You always teach me love when there is hate.

And the way our hands fit, it must be fate.

So, here I end my silly little rhyme.

Hold my hand so I can feel that you’re mine.

Friends, this poem, to me, is meant to be something very uncomplicated but beautiful. It represents the most simple things you can do as a couple. But it is those little moments that you sometimes hold most dear to your heart.

Friends,

This is a great post that I wanted to share. Even though KrishnaPriya and I are from quite different religions and parts of the world, it is amazing to me how we can both come to some of the same conclusions about God. The beginning of all is to find completeness in His love.

Endlessness | Short Poem No. 52

The sea’s endlessness.

We walk the beach together.

Our love, eternal.

Friends, this concludes my week of Haiku. How do you like the final post? I really feel this one in my heart; the perfect conclusion.
