Trees Blowing in the Wind. | Short Poem No. 36

“Trees Blowing in the Wind.”

Do you ever sit on the grass and feel the gentle breeze

blow over your face? The clouds break and the sun frees.

You breathe in, you breathe out. Life is beautiful when you’re at peace.

It’s so simple, yet so complex,

like a laugh, as it rises from your soul and escapes in your breathe.

Trees Blowing in the Wind

If I close my eyes, I can hear music play.

Maybe it’s the angels singing that, “Everything is okay.”

The worries will always be there. But I open my eyes.

I breathe in and out, and this is beautiful and I just realize.

It’s so simple, yet so sublime,

like a tear, as it rises from your soul and escapes your eye.

Life is beautiful.

      1. It is amazing for me to connect like this too – through so many different zones – of culture, geography and life experiences. 🙂 It is the miracle of words and depth of hearts. Wish you a gorgeous day! 🙂

      1. I am glad. Joey if I may say it to you, I might not write great, but its very emotionally tolling for me to write anything. So if my writings are a joy for somebody, its a great gift for me. Thanks.

      2. Yes, often times it takes a lot of out myself, as well, to write. I think that’s a part of making the best poems; they are something that comes out from deep inside of us.
